"As a bachelor student in the CoP, I wrote my bachelor thesis on the commitment of all the members in the CoP towards the CoP. At first, it was a bit challeging since I was surrounded by PhD, master students and professors. I, however, came across a lot of new insights with regards to scientific knowledge and methods that I the could use to apply while writing my own bachelor thesis, and therefore I'll be taking part in another CoP this year as a master student as well."  - Shabnam Shanurkeyl, bachelor student at Radboud University, The Netherlands

"I believe that the greatest contribution the CoP has brought me, as a first year master student, was the understanding of the international dimension of my research. When we find ourselves stuck between the walls of USP (University of São Paulo) or of our research group, we believe our research is very localized. But having contact with many professors and students around the world who study and research the same thing as you do, you can understand that your work has a broad, international relevance, and that was very important to me." - Felipe Maragni, master student at University of São Paulo, Brazil

"Participating in the CoP was an amazing experience for me. Being able to meet researchers interested in the same topic in other countries, in other cultures, helped to deepen the reflections that now make up my dissertation. It also contributed to training in writing in another language and writing together! So we also grow towards academic writing and collective construction, which is the basis of scientific achievement." - Luana Peixoto, master student at Federal University of Bahia, Brazil

"I enjoyed participating in the Community of Practice! I had the opportunity to brainstorm on commitment issues with experts in the field, and I personally decided to make a link between commitment and work-life balance, which was my own area of interest, and I also got inspired to write my own article on this. So I'm very grateful to the Community of Practice." - Stephanie de Koning, master student at Radboud University, The Netherlands

"The CoP allowed me to train on 'how to conduct a systematic review of the literature', one of the first steps in the thesis development. Being a CoP member also opens my view to other methods and improves my communication with other researchers, especially the ones that don't speak Portuguese." - Lucas dos Santos Costa, PhD student at University of São Paulo, Brazil

"The Community of Practice showed that collaborating and exchanging ideas is vital to doing better research. For me, studying commitment with others in the Community of Practice reaffirmed my perspective that commitment is an important topic to study, and that there are many new opportunities to explore and to develop our understanding of commitment." - Leon Hupkens, PhD candidate at Vrije University, The Netherlands

"The CoP allowed me to reinforce my arguments about my thesis contribution to the 'commitment of literature' . And it allowed me to exchange with students and teachers from other cultures with other perspectives on the same phenomenon. In addition, I was able to exercise my skills in writing and speaking in English, which can contribute to the internationalization of my research." - Giselle Queiroz, PhD candidate at University of São Paulo, Brazil
